This program works on WINDOWS 95/98/2000/NT/Millenium.

To install RebarWin, Please follow these steps:

• Make a directory in your hard drive, which will be used during the installation. For instance, it could be C:\INSTALL
• Download REBARWIN.ZIP and copy it to this directory.
• Unpack REBARWIN.ZIP and place the resulting files in C:\INSTALL. You can use PKUNZIP.EXE or WINZIP. If you are using PKUNZIP.EXE, you can unpack the zip files with the following commands:

• Run C:\INSTALL\SETUP.EXE.

During this installation process the executable file is placed at: C:\REBARWIN\REBARWIN.EXE and the help files are copied to the subdirectory: C:\REBARWIN\HELP\

The help files are available in two different formats:

• Help.doc, Help1.doc, help2.doc and help3.doc can be viewed with MS-Word 97 or higher. This is the recommended format. If you print the files in this format, different chapters are kept in different pages. That doesn't happen with the htm format.
• Help.htm, Help1.htm, help2.htm and help3.htm can be viewed with your internet browser.

To uninstall RebarWin you can either run C:\REWARWIN\UNINSTALL.EXE or use the Windows Add/Remove Software utility in the Control Panel.

IMPORTANT NOTE: BECAUSE SOME OLD MS-DOS PROGRAMS BLOCK THE PRINTER PORT EVEN IF THEY AREN'T PRINTING, IT IS HIGHLY RECOMMENDED THAT YOU CLOSE ALL MS-DOS PROGRAMS BEFORE RUNNING RebarWin, ELSE THEY COULD COMPLETELY BLOCK RebarWin WHEN IT TRIES TO PRINT. This problem doesn't happen with Windows programs, only with some MS-DOS programs.

HOW TO PREPARE A SET OF 3 INSTALLATION DISKETTES.

Please follow these steps:

• Unpack the zip file. You can use, among others, PKUNZIP.EXE or WINZIP. You see 5 files are unpacked out of the zip file: Readme.txt, Setup.exe, disk1.pak, disk2.pak, disk3.pak
• Copy Readme.txt, Setup.exe and disk1.pak to DISK1.
• Copy disk2.pak to DISK2.
• Copy disk3.pak to DISK3.

The installation diskettes are ready.

You can begin installation by inserting DISK1 and executing A:\SETUP.EXE.
